Yu-Chin Chen, earned her master’s degree in Institute of Hospital and Health Care Administration with the thesis “Hospital Partnership in Post-Acute Care and Patient Outcomes among Stroke Patient in Taiwan”, won the TSC Thesis Award and be invited to Office of the President to receive the greetings from President Ing-wen Tsai last month.
Her research found that there are positive associations between hospital alliances and stroke patients treatment outcome. Thus she suggested post-acute care program (PAC) of National Health Insurance must encourage hospitals form partnerships and strengthen their patient-sharing relationship with their existing PAC partners.
