The 18th Outstanding Alumni Award of the Yangming Campus was bestowed to the following alumni: Niu, Dau-Ming (category: academics); Liu, Chin-Su (category: services); Tsai, Tung-Hu (category: administration); Jou, Akira (category: business); and Liu, Ding-Ping (category: special contributions). The awards were granted in recognition of their contributions to society as well as their efforts and endeavors in their respective fields, distinguishing them as role models for students to aspire to.

Academics:
Niu, Dau-Ming graduated from the Institute of Clinical Medicine in 2004 after receiving a Ph.D. degree. Presently, he is the Director of the Department of Pediatrics, Taipei Veterans General Hospital.

Liu, Chin-Su graduated from the School of Medicine in 1990 and received his Ph.D. degree in clinical medicine in 2001. He is currently the Chair of the Division of Transplantation Surgery, Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
