NYMU abolished a student’s microbiology and Immunology Master title because of the fake research data published on her thesis. The case, which may be the first one in NYMU, was found and investigated by his advisor and confirmed by Research Ethics Committee. We believe the purpose of scientific research is answer our curiosity and question about the world. Thesis is just the beginning of a processes that we want to pursue the turth. NYMU argues every graduated student must provide his or her authentic report to prevent plagiarism when defensing the thesis or dissertation. We also believe that all students and teachers must obey the principles of research ethics.
