Professor Shuu-Jiun Wang was inaugurated as the Dean of College of Medicine of NYCU as of Feb. 16th, 2024. Professor Wang, a neurology expert and Vice President of Taipei Veterans General Hospital and having over 40 years of profound relationship with NYCU College of Medicine, brings a vision for advancing the institution’s global standing.
During the ceremony, President Chi-Hung Lin acknowledged the leadership of outgoing Dean Chen-Huan Chen and outlined expectations for Professor Wang to lead the college’s evolution. Noteworthy speakers, including former university president Kung-Yee Liang and hospital president Wei-Ming Chen, emphasized the importance of fostering adaptable, patient-focused medical professionals.
