The delegation from the College of Medicine, College of Engineering, and College of Nursing of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University is tasked with promoting international education development. The international education exchange conducted in Vietnam not only facilitated academic exchange but also provided an opportunity for deepening cooperation between Taiwan and Vietnam in the fields of medicine, engineering, and nursing.

Cheng Cheng-chien (third from left) pointed out that the International Health Master’s Program of the College of Medicine at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University has been cooperating with the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since its inception in 2002, training high-level health professionals for several allied countries. This achievement is something to be proud of and cherished.
The transnational international education exchange conducted by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Vietnam not only facilitated academic exchange but also provided an opportunity for deepening cooperation between Taiwan and Vietnam in the fields of medicine, engineering, and nursing.
It is understood that during their visit, in addition to engaging in transnational international education exchange, the delegation from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University also interacted with local alumni to maintain the alumni network and met with the local Taiwanese business association in Vietnam to discuss potential talent development collaborations.
The delegation included Professor Chen Chi-wen from the College of Nursing, Director Albert-T-Yeung from the Institute of Environmental Engineering, Professor Chang Shu-min, Director Chi Kai-hsien from the Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, Director Chuang Yi-fang, Deputy Director Chen Hsin-jen, and Assistant Manager Lin Yi-ling from the International Health Master’s Program. These academic experts are jointly promoting in-depth development in education, research, and industry cooperation between Taiwan and Vietnam, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration between the two countries.
